Wrapping incorrectly strips parenthesis from word into new line

Szabolcs Szász 15 years ago • updated 15 years ago • 0
E.g.:

blah blah (i.e. something
) oops look at that

Should be:

blah blah (i.e. something)
oops look at that

Command line open should use last used (or fullscreened) window

Mike Flynn 15 years ago • 0
Opening a file should open from the command line should in the current editor window, instead of a new window. This is really key when using Sublime 2 in fullscreen mode with Lion.

Drag and drop open in specific pane (like ST1)

Jonas Einarsson 15 years ago • 0
Dragging and dropping a file on a specific pane still opens in the first pane.

On the same theme, can I get rid of the "new" behavior on dragging tabs around: When dropped in a pane, it opens a new window. In ST1 the tab was moved to the corresponding pane.

Allow modification of existing text selection with shift-click

John Pansewicz 14 years ago • updated by Raphael Schweikert 14 years ago • 1
After a selection is made you cannot modify the selection by shift-clicking. This is either a bug, or maybe there's a preference that I'm not aware of. As I'm sure you already know, pretty much every text editor allows you to modify your selection with a shift-click. By modify, I mean either add text to the selection or remove selected text from the selection. This doesn't work for me on Windows 7 x64 using version 2.0.1.

Read Traveler Reviews

jaria bence 13 years ago • 0

User-review sites have changed the way most people plan their travel, giving us an enormously useful tool for evaluating hotels, restaurants, tourist attractions and the like.TripAdvisor.com is the big kahuna, with more than 20 million reviews, mostly of hotels — but also less traditional lodging like B&Bs, villas and private homes — as well as restaurants and attractions. TravelPost.com is another, owned by Kayak.com and recently relaunched; like its airfare-aggregating parent, TravelPost.com collects reviews from various websites, such as Citysearch.com, Yahoo! Travel and IgoUgo.com. Check out Yelp.com for locals' takes on restaurants, shops and other businesses, orOpenTable.com, which guarantees that reviewers have actually eaten at the restaurants they rate.

User reviews are helpful but not foolproof, so keep in mind the following tips:

• Read between the lines, asking yourself if the writer shares your mind-set, or if a negative review is the result of a persnickety traveler or a singular bad experience. As a rule of thumb, the more people have contributed, the more valuable overall ratings become.
• Always see how recent the post was. Establishments are quick to change, move or close.
• Always look at photos posted by users; you may find them more telling than words could ever hope to be.

C-l to rotate through cursor positions

William Beard 14 years ago • 0
Currently, C-l moves the line that the cursor is at to the center of the screen, like in Emacs. It would be nice if hitting it multiple times would toggle between the center position, top and bottom.

I.e., hitting it once moves line to center, hitting C-l again moves the line to the top of the screen, then to the bottom of the screen, and hitting C-l a fourth time recenters it again.

Too-large font causes crash

Clint Howarth 15 years ago • 0
Setting foolishly large font (120) causes persistent crash on Win7x64. You have to dig out the preference settings and change it before you can get a successful reboot. a2059

Project title not displayed when no files open

Russell Keith-Magee 16 years ago • 0
Build #2036 added the current project name to the titlebar text under OSX.

However, when the project has no open files, the titlebar reverts to the default "Sublime Text 2" title, omitting the project title. If you have multiple projects open, and each project window has no open files, it is not possible to differentiate minimized project windows.

Wrapped lines behaving odd with Ctrl+Cursor Keys

Liam Mitchell 13 years ago • 0

Can we make Ctrl+Cursor keys or other operations treet wrapped text like every other editor does. Currently its possible to use Ctrl+Down and have a cursor placed where it thinks theres a new line when its just a continuation from the previous.

Im not sure if this is the desired functionality or not but I find it annoying from times when multi line editing many lines of text.

Great editor thanks :)

Pressing = in visual mode doesn't exit the visual mode with Vintage

Jakub Arnold 15 years ago • updated 15 years ago • 0
If I want to just reindent some lines, I can simply select them in visual mode (i.e. V + j/k), and then press = to reindent.

Doing this in regular VIM results in exiting the visual mode, which means I can keep on moving around without the selection and edit stuff. However if I do this in Vintage mode, the visual mode persists after the code is indented, which means I have to exit the visual mode with Esc or something to keep on working.

Bug in snippets with conditional insert with numbers

Roman Komarov 14 years ago • 0

If you have a conditional insert in a mirrored field in a snippet and it's value is starting with a number, it's not inserted. Here is an example:

view.run_command("insert_snippet", {"contents" : "snippet: ${1:}${1/(.+)?/(?1:123)/}"})

I found a workaround to fix it: just adding parens — “()” — before the number fixes it (however, I'm not sure that plain braces shouldn't be inserted, so I'd recommend using the empty conditional insert there)

Westhill House Consulting Rooms tried and tested, you will love them too!

Cataleya Zoe 13 years ago in Plugin announcements • 0
When I was looking for specialist on the internet as I was very busy I can’t find time to look for it outside, I came across Westhill House Consulting Rooms. I immediately called and asked if they were accepting new patients. So then I was transferred to someone, which I didn’t mind. He then made the initial interview which lasted for about 20 minutes. He also asked what kind of service do I intend to avail. Of course he also asked me why I needed to avail the service. I was very pleased in the way he interviewed me.
I was impressed because I was scheduled quickly, I happened to be scheduled just a day after I called which is a time very convenient for me. They actually gave me choices of schedules which was nice because it shows that they truly care for their customers. I knew I was in good hands right after since he provided me details on how the clinic works.
As soon as I arrived at Westhill House Consulting Rooms, I felt at ease, the place was very welcoming, very comfy. And that’s not all; confidentiality is strictly enforced so I felt secure.
In addition to all of that, this Westhill House Consulting Rooms is very affordable. Yes it is low-cost. They will go by a sliding scale, and I was happy to learn my therapy sessions were going to be affordable for me for the next weeks.
I was very pleased after that first session knowing that the therapist that I talked to really suited me. There were no heavy feelings towards him. I mean, there were no hesitations I told him my every concern and I was pretty happy with his response. They were actually comforting, it relieved me. They really helped and it was just in the first session so what more in the next sessions. I believe I will be better at the end.
I can highly recommend this Westhill House Consulting Rooms, I am sure they will be as satisfied as I am. The time and money will be very worth-it. So anyway, their services are available for children, adults, couples, and family therapy. They will help people with problems in their relationships, jobs, schools, families, and also with more serious problems like depression, anxiety, ptsd, serious mental illness and drug use.

Better graphical design

Michael 14 years ago • 0
Please look at Coda 2. http://panic.com/coda/ / Texmate / Xcode / ...
While there's a low chance that based on current look of Sublime it will be of any importance, I think there's strong evidence that design, look and feel of the app is an important selling point (money).
I've bought Sublime an hour ago in hopes it will get better. I stopped using it (the trial) numerous times because of this before.
I'd like to suggest hiring a better designer to get the design of Sublime on par with some of the better code editing tools out there.
And maybe ditch the "Text" from the title.

Should have regular expression while searching for a file using Ctrl+P

Vimal Raj 14 years ago • 0

When we press Ctrl+P, we can search and open the file by either giving partial or full name of the file. But I would like to open ABC*.properties file [Note: * have any characters after ABC] which seems to be not possible.
