In Find dialog execute search on Enter instead of inserting a new line.

When doing search(Ctrl-F) in this dialog at the bottom it inserts a new line when you press Enter. I think, it would be better to just begin the search instead.

By default, pressing enter in the find panel will do a find next, and ctrl+enter will insert a newline - could you ctrl key have been stuck down?

Indeed, I must have been not releasing the Ctrl in time. Sorry, dismiss.
