Some settings are overridden in distraction free mode, including this one. Instructions for changing this are on http://www.sublimetext.com/docs/2/settings.html

You can use the trim_trailing_white_space_on_save to do this on save

There are no workarounds that I'm aware of, unfortunately
This appears to be an OS X quirk - information is at http://slackrw.wordpress.com/2010/07/31/mac-os-x-10-6-snow-leopard-re-enable-lcd-font-smoothing-for-some-monitors-via-macosxhints-com/
I agree! Handily, the Project/Find in Project menu item does just this :)
There's no option to put the minimap on the left hand side in Sublime Text 2 - only in Sublime Text 1
You can use the View/Layout menu to get split panes
Added in build 2111 - see http://www.sublimetext.com/docs/2/projects.html

Thanks for the request. There are already a couple of ways of doing this from the keyboard:

- ctrl+tab back to the previous file
- close the transient file, via ctrl+f4 or command+w
