Keep undo history across sessions, per file

Would that be possible?

So that we keep an undo (ctrl+z) history per file across sessions. So that if I close my editor, re-open, I'll be able to still ctrl+z some changes.

Agreed. The undo/redo buffer should definitely be maintained when switching between projects as well. If I'm in the middle of something, switch to another project to check on something else, then switch back...
