On OSX: If you dont have a window open, most of the menu items dont show anything
for example recent projects and open recent.
you cant open a project directly with select project.
you always have to press new window and then select the project.

I run into this problem on a daily basis, especially since ST projects can't be opened from Finder yet. So you have to rely on having a window already opened in ST just to open a project (or any recent files).
