Ability to configure the transparency of whitespace characters like Eclipse.

I usually develop with whitespace characters always enabled, but the default look of them in Sublime Text is rather distracting -- it would be nice to make them more transparent like Eclipse Indigo now offers.

Pretty please!

Seconded. I would also appreciate the ability to modify the characters for the same reason. The defaults are mid-dots and em-lines, the latter being particularly distracting.

+1. I would almost prefer the ability to change the character used to represent the whitespace characters, but transparency would also help a lot.
