Filter to show only matching lines

This is probably a request for a plugin.

I'd like to be able to run a filter that provides only matching lines a la grep. I'd like it to filter out of the view any lines that do not match a provided regex.

It would be super cool if there was functionality analogous to : http://blogs.msdn.com/delay/archive/2007/06/21/powerful-log-file-analysis-for-everyone-releasing-textanalysistool-net.aspx in Sublime Text 3.
