I use Eclipse and Visual Studio on a Vertical 23" screen. I usually un-dock everything and place it on another monitor so only the code is on my vertical monitor.
Without the ability to un-dock the folders sidebar in Sublime Text, the text area becomes too narrow to use and I end up never using the sidebar at all.
