The Goto/Scroll menu has an entry for doing this.

On OS X, you may also want to enable the scroll_past_end setting
This is by design.

Explicitly toggling word_wrap via the menu will override whatever is set in any of the settings files.
Ctrl+Tab works exactly like Alt+Tab does (or Cmd+Tab on OS X)

The various ways to switch between tabs are listed in the Goto/Switch File menu
ctrl+enter inserts a newline. You can see what's happening by resizing the panel to be larger.
The shift_tab_unindent setting controls this - a description for it is in the default file settings
