project folders view moves up and down when collapsing folders
The project folder is not "fixed". Most often than not, when opening a lot of folders so that the scrollbar is outside the visibile bounds, collapsing some of them again moves the project folders view completely. I think the correct behaviour would be that anything above the sourcetree item I am folding stays exactly where it is. It looks like the whole scrollbar is repositioned. This is often confusing and I have to spend a second or two finding my way again.

Please move the find dialogs and any other to the top instead of the bottom or allow its customization as a preference, thank you.
For high-resolution monitors it's a lot of extra work and less comfort to look way down at the bottom of the window where your attention rarely is, contrasted to the top where you're constantly reading tab file names and interacting with Ctrl + P, thanks.

Ctrl-K doesn't quite do what emacs users would expect
Ctrl-K, in emacs (or, on OS X, in the many applications, such as TextEdit, that have emacs-compatible bindings), kills the current line from the cursor to the end of line; invoking Ctrl-K again, the cursor remains fixed but the EOL is killed, bringing the text of the next line up in front of the cursor.
SublimeText handles the first Ctrl-K correctly*, but subsequent Ctrl-K's cause ST to delete a letter backwards---which I find bizarre.
* Not quite correctly: it doesn't place the killed line in a kill buffer. Even lowly TextEdit seems to do this: try Ctrl-K, then Ctrl-Y

The Next Big Thing voor Tech: The Internet of Everything
In een column schreef ik hier al eerder CES , schetste ik
acht trends stelde ik voor zou uit de show komen. Ik weggelaten een
belangrijke trend die bekend staat als het internet van Everything (OIE), zoals
het hele werd impliciet het grootste deel van de trends I vermeld. Maar nu
ik de gebeurtenissen van de show hebben verteerd, ik heb het uit genoemd als
een trend in zijn eigen recht, want het werd uiteindelijk de ware thema van dit
jaar CES.
Dit werd mij heel duidelijk tijdens een vergadering die ik had met de CEO van Cisco, John Chambers, waar hij schetste denken Cisco's op OIE. Toen ik uitgecheckt de verschillende auto's op de beursvloer, allen werden pronken hoe slim en ze verbonden waren. Er waren aangesloten tv's, koelkasten, huishoudelijke apparaten, domotica-systemen, noem maar op, en het werd aangesloten op een of andere manier met het internet of een smartphone, tablet of pc.
De OIE focus op gezondheid is heel interessant en ik van groot belang. In de sectie gezondheid op de CES, United Healthcare, dat is een van de grootste zorgverzekeraars in de VS, had een grote stand die verschillende gezondheids-monitoring devices en online educatieve diensten gemarkeerd. Zorgaanbieders en verzekeraars weten dat houdt je gezond en uit het ziekenhuis is veel goedkoper en beter dan het verzorgen van de kosten voor u als u ziek wordt - en vooral als je opgenomen in een ziekenhuis. Introduce a touch of filename bias in the code that produces the Goto File/Anything result lists, maybe with an even stronger bias for matches at the beginning of word parts in the filename.
If I type "app con" in the Goto File overlay, I get the following matches:

* application_controller.rb

The first three match because the path is .../app/controllers/..., but I think most people would like to see "application_controller.rb" at the top of the list if they type in "app con".

In javascript, when you type parens or curlys, they are auto-closed for you. It would be nice to have a snippet like this:

Option to allocate tabs or spaces for certain file types
In cases of YAML files certainly, tabs cannot be used. At the moment I have to manually put in spaces, save and close the file and then reopen so that tabs automatically become spaces.
Maybe in the case of YAML and other strict formats, Sublime Text 2 should force spaces/tabs?

snippets dont lose focus if you move away with the cursor
if you activate a snippet and you dont tab through all options and then move away with your cursor and try to tab to activate another snippet or just to indent, the cursor will jump back to a tab position in the first snippet.

Thai Airways. Their lounge in Bangkok is one of the best-kept secrets—they have a Jacuzzi. You can get a massage and eat great Thai food. It’s like taking a mini-vacation before starting on a 12-hour slog.
Best airport?
Frankfurt. It’s quite a long walk between terminals, but it’s well-equipped, clean and has good connectivity. It’s a well-oiled, efficient modern German environment.
Which city has the best taxis?
Singapore. The taxis are the blood and veins of the nation. They have an app where you can order a taxi without having to speak to someone, and you can follow the car on a GPS-based map as it’s coming to you.
Favorite hotel?
Radisson Royal Hotel in Moscow. It’s in one of the so-called seven sisters, the colossal skyscrapers from the Stalin era, which makes it easy to find the hotel. Although the inside of the room is a bit like being trapped in a 1970s wedding, the grandeur is unbelievable.
Which country in Asia has the best food?
Istanbul is genuinely where East meets West. The foods you can eat, and the venues in which you can eat them, are mind-blowing. Thai food is also incredible, and Vietnamese pho is a great pick-me-up that can only really be made in Vietnam.
The best coffee?
Vietnam has the best environment, Thailand has the best beans, and Starbucks has the best quality through consistency.
I also have a Handpresso, a device that lets you make espresso in your room. It looks like a weapon though, so I get questioned every time I take it through security. Once they see it smells like coffee, they believe me it’s a coffee maker and let me through.
How do you fight jet lag?
You learn to live perpetually slightly tired. When you have downtime, maximize it. After over 10 years, one thing I’ve learned to do is power nap for 20 minutes. I wake up completely refreshed.
What are your packing essentials?
I collect eye blinds and always pack at least five—in different pockets of my luggage—so I can nap. The iPad Mini is my entertainment center. I also recently got a tiny Asus Wi-Fi router that’s about the size of a cigarette lighter that will turn an Ethernet connection in a hotel to a Wi-Fi connection. It comes in handy because hotel Wi-Fi is remarkably slow because it’s shared among so many people.
What’s your packing strategy?
I always pack exactly the same everywhere I go. I keep my Rimowa carry-on by the door with my iPad keyboard, work shoes and a jacket. I grab a small bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, mini toiletries. I also pack three white work shirts. White shirts are the best because no one knows if you’re wearing the same one or not.
How do you exercise on the road?
I try to walk more. I also swim when I travel because I find it relaxing.
Where haven’t you been that you’d like to go?
Mongolia. It’s opening up and has phenomenal scenery and landscape but has never really turned into a top tourist destination.
What’s your travel advice?
Be kind. Traveling is a privilege, not a right. If you spend a lot of time on airplanes, you can be tired and frustrated, but try to remember the staff work to protect you.
Best travel experience?
When I first traveled to Istanbul, we landed into the airport at 6 a.m. and came over the hill into the city just as the sun was rising over the minarets and mosques of the city. To see that orange-hued sky, that Arabic Eastern-Western layout in front of me—it took my breath away.
Worst travel experience?
Being denied entry in Moscow. It was mainly because of a clerical error—the date on my visa was incorrect. But in Russia, there’s a very high level of attention to detail, so there was no question that I could get a pass. It was a life lesson: Always check your own documents and if you need a visa, make sure it’s the right one.

Radisson Royal Hotel in Moscow. It’s in one of the so-called seven sisters, the colossal skyscrapers from the Stalin era, which makes it easy to find the hotel. Although the inside of the room is a bit like being trapped in a 1970s wedding, the grandeur is unbelievable.
Which country in Asia has the best food?
Istanbul is genuinely where East meets West. The foods you can eat, and the venues in which you can eat them, are mind-blowing. Thai food is also incredible, and Vietnamese pho is a great pick-me-up that can only really be made in Vietnam.
The best coffee?
Vietnam has the best environment, Thailand has the best beans, and Starbucks has the best quality through consistency.
I also have a Handpresso, a device that lets you make espresso in your room. It looks like a weapon though, so I get questioned every time I take it through security. Once they see it smells like coffee, they believe me it’s a coffee maker and let me through.
How do you fight jet lag?
You learn to live perpetually slightly tired. When you have downtime, maximize it. After over 10 years, one thing I’ve learned to do is power nap for 20 minutes. I wake up completely refreshed.
What are your packing essentials?
I collect eye blinds and always pack at least five—in different pockets of my luggage—so I can nap. The iPad Mini is my entertainment center. I also recently got a tiny Asus Wi-Fi router that’s about the size of a cigarette lighter that will turn an Ethernet connection in a hotel to a Wi-Fi connection. It comes in handy because hotel Wi-Fi is remarkably slow because it’s shared among so many people.
What’s your packing strategy?
I always pack exactly the same everywhere I go. I keep my Rimowa carry-on by the door with my iPad keyboard, work shoes and a jacket. I grab a small bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, mini toiletries. I also pack three white work shirts. White shirts are the best because no one knows if you’re wearing the same one or not.
How do you exercise on the road?
I try to walk more. I also swim when I travel because I find it relaxing.
Where haven’t you been that you’d like to go?
Mongolia. It’s opening up and has phenomenal scenery and landscape but has never really turned into a top tourist destination.
What’s your travel advice?
Be kind. Traveling is a privilege, not a right. If you spend a lot of time on airplanes, you can be tired and frustrated, but try to remember the staff work to protect you.
Best travel experience?
When I first traveled to Istanbul, we landed into the airport at 6 a.m. and came over the hill into the city just as the sun was rising over the minarets and mosques of the city. To see that orange-hued sky, that Arabic Eastern-Western layout in front of me—it took my breath away.
Worst travel experience?
Being denied entry in Moscow. It was mainly because of a clerical error—the date on my visa was incorrect. But in Russia, there’s a very high level of attention to detail, so there was no question that I could get a pass. It was a life lesson: Always check your own documents and if you need a visa, make sure it’s the right one.

When opening from CLI, create new projects for folders that do not yet have projects
Create a new project for a folder that does not yet have a project, or open the most recently opened project for a folder that already has a project, when opening Sublime Text 2 from the CLI.

Sublime text new version bug on using C++
The new version of Sublime text has an unknown bug on using C++...
It doesn't build and run, it says: "Can't find file specified" or something like that...
I copied the codes I wrote and transferred it in Dev-C++ and it ran..
So I think the developers might want to read this topic and fix the bug...

Add "Launch" option to installer
As with many other installers, it would be nice to have a checkbox to allow the option of "Launch Sublime Text 2" on the installation complete page (I'd prefer it default to be checked as well, but that's up to you).
For the record, I'm on the dev channel, so I suppose it may be included in the installers for the official builds. A minor change, but I'd find it very useful.

Move down current file in selector when opening new file
I usually browse my projects using Cmd+T (on Mac) and just search for the next file I want to open. However, when a header file is open and I want to edit the corresponding source file, a search for the file name reveals the header file again, although this file is already open and even in the buffer that has focus. I obviously don't want to open this file again, so I guess it would be quicker to just move the file name of the current buffer to the end of the list.
