Make the sidebar drag and droppable into its own window, also, allow tabbed sidebars for better drive organization.

Add support for folder / file authentication (Windows)

risomt 11 år siden 0

If you open a project that includes a network folder in Sublime Text (2) in Windows, and the folder requires authentication, ST2 will not prompt you for said authentication or present any information about the authentication being required.  Instead, it hangs on refresh / reload and, once out of the hang, does nothing.

A work around to this is to remove the folder from the project and re-add it.  ST2 notices the authentication is required, Windows prompts for it, and upon entering it the folder can be added.  Rather inconvenient, though!

Expected: ST2 shows some special marking for an authenticated-required folder and, if un-authenticated or it cannot open it, prompts the user with a message.  This is assuming the windows authentication can be identified as the problem, which I am unsure exists in the windows API.

Westhill Consulting Travel and Tours: Jakarta Travel Tips

Sam Allih 10 år siden 0
By travelwesthill
The largest city in Indonesia and one of the most thickly populated city in the world, Jakarta, is still very famous for tourists to visit. You will find a remarkable skyline and be impressed with some of the tallest buildings on the planet. This symbolizes the city’s financial prowess.
The city is finished with a display of regions and suburbs. All of which are particularly dissimilar, which makes this hub of Asia is a true melting pot of cultures.
The city has had a chaotic history going back to the 12th century and the influence conquering nations have had on Jakarta is obvious. Portuguese, Dutch, Chinese and British architecture can be seen in different parts in the entire city.
Jakarta is one of the extravagant cities you would want to visit and represented globalization in almost every admiration.
After deciding on what hotel you want to stay, then the next thing you have to worry about is getting there. The most convenient means to roam around the city is to fly into Soekarno Hatta International Airport. The airport is serviced by most major airlines and you will find that getting to your Jakarta hotel from here is easy just 20 km outside the city.
There is a free shuttle bus into the city, but it can be random, so pre-booking a taxi could be the better choice. But, these can be very costly.
One more option is to rent a car so you can go directly to your Jakarta hotel without any trouble, but be very patient with the traffic because it can be a nightmare.
Travelling to and from the city is trouble-free by train and there are many of excellent connections. Commuter services start running early from 5.00 a.m. local time, and they frequently up until late into the night. The service is usually dependable and you can choose from four distinctive services such as air-conditioned non-stop trains, semi-express trains, ekonomi AC – which will stop at every station but is air conditioned – and ekonomi.
If you are tight on cash, an upgrade is worthwhile since your journey will be a great deal.
Bus connections are good and the means of transport are rather comfortable because not so crowded than the train. On the other hand, it is suitable not to travel from your hotel in Jakarta during rush hour.
There are also less considerable means of transport like other destinations. Jakarta has an enormous number of bajajes. This can be used as a fast and convenient if you know precisely where you are headed.

Tab width: any width

Robert L 12 år siden opdateret af Jon Skinner 12 år siden 0
Simple column-like formatted texts and languages, assembly is one example, can benefit from wider tab widths; an option to freely set any tab width would be useful.

This can be done with the tab_size file setting

Scroll wheel sensitivity config

Lucas Neil Brown 12 år siden 0
On the Windows version I've noticed that using the scroll wheel isn't as sensitive as I'd like it (especially coming from Notepad++ that zooms around). It would be great if there as a way to configure this!

trigger right click from keyboard

random_person 13 år siden 0
is it possible, or would it be possible to add, the ability to trigger a right click (command click) from the keyboard? i hate using a mouse so to be able to select some text and then from the keyboard trigger a command click would be fantastically useful. (a feature from TM)

Window Switching Hotkey

Daniel Sont 12 år siden opdateret 12 år siden 0
Can there be an OS independent hotkey to focus window 1 or window 2...etc.

This would be handy, as I often don't know which window I have focused and alt+tab always just switches instead of goes do a definite one.

Furthermore.. maybe instead you could do hotkeys for each grid element.

so if I had it set up like this
 ______    _______
|A  |  B |    | C |   D|
|    |     |     |     |     |
|______|    |______|

It would be super cool if I had a configurable independent hotkey for each (ctrl alt a, ctrl alt b, ctrl alt c, ctrl alt d) or something.

easy drag table creator

Andy T 12 år siden opdateret 12 år siden 0
I/we do a lot of email builds which means we have to use tables a lot :-(
Having an MS word type drag over ui to decide the rows and columns of a table would really speed things up.
We use Edit plus at the moment and it has it, we would not be able to move away to a tool without it.
if it's an option it would really save the day for your awesome editor to have it.

Installing sublime text plugins all at once

Ishan Shah 11 år siden 0

Is there a way to install all the sublime text 2 plugins that you would like to install all at once. In Notepad++, there is a plugin manager which lets you install all the plugins you want to install by checking the box next to the plugin name & description. I was wandering if there is something like that for sublime text.

For eg, I would like to install Zen Coding, JQuery Package for Sublime Text, Sublime Prefixr, JS Format, SublimeLinter and many other plugins all at once rather than typing each plugin in the Package Control and installing it one by one.

Quitting should be able keep unsaved files like "Close Project" or project switching does

When closing a project or switching to another project unsaved files are kept in their state. But if I quit slt2 it asks me to save them. It would be nice to also "keep unsaved changes" like it's already done for the two actions mentioned above.

You can use "Hot Quit" (OS X), or "Hot Exit" (Windows / Linux) for this

Sublime Text 3's new Goto Anything hangs!

Sublime Text 3's new Goto Anything hangs!

Jesus Christ!

Sublime Text 2's Goto Anything (usually Ctrl-P) never hanged. Come on!

Sublime Text 3 boasts of

  • "Improved matching algorithm used for Goto Anything and auto-complete accepts transposed characters"
but my virgin experience with this version is lag. This is not what I would call an improved algorithm.

Find in Files to open in new dialog

Currently the resultset of Find In Files will open in the "Console". To me this is annoying since I may then want to use the console or find again now that I can reference something.

Perhaps show it in one of those popups?

ObamaCare patients with serious pre-existing diseases could face expensive drug costs

jonabilio 10 år siden 0
People with serious pre-existing diseases, precisely those the president aimed to help with ObamaCare, could find themselves paying for expensive drug treatments with no help from the health care exchanges.

Those with expensive diseases such as lupus or multiple sclerosis face something called a "closed drug formulary."

Dr. Scott Gottlieb of the American Enterprise Institute explains,"if the medicine that you need isn't on that list, it's not covered at all. You have to pay completely out of pocket to get that medicine, and the money you spend doesn't count against your deductible, and it doesn't count against your out of pocket limits, so you're basically on your own."

The plan had claimed it would rescue those with serious pre-existing conditions.

"So it could be that a MS patient could be expected to pay $62,000 just for one medication," says Dr. Daniel Kantor, who treats MS patients and others with neurological conditions near Jacksonville, Florida. "That’s a possiblity under the new ObamaCare going on right now."

In fact, one conservative group, Americans for Prosperity, is running an ad on exactly this subject, featuring a woman with lupus, an auto-immune disease.

She starts by saying, "I voted for Barack Obama for president. I thought ObamaCare was going to be a good thing."

But Emilie Lamb says she later got a letter saying her insurance was canceled because of ObamaCare, pushing her premiums from $52 to $373 a month.

"I'm having to work a second job, to pay for ObamaCare,” she adds. “For somebody with lupus, that's not an easy thing. If I can't afford to continue to pay for ObamaCare, I don't get my medicine. I don't get to see my doctors."

One of the problems is that drugs for some diseases such as MS do not have generic versions. So without cheaper alternatives and no help from ObamaCare, patients could face huge personal out-of-pocket bills, forcing some to skimp on their medications.

Kantor worries that "this may drive more patients" to not buy their medicines, "which we know is dangerous," he says. "We know MS can be a bad disease when you’re not treating it. When you’re treating it, for most people they handle it pretty well, but we know when you don’t treat (it), it’s the kind of disease where people end up in wheel chairs potentially."

In the commercial market, of course, drugs not on a preferred list would also be more expensive, but with a major difference, according to Gottlieb.

"You go outside that list, you have to pay out of pocket for it, but you do get some co-insurance, meaning the plans will pay some of the cost of that."

Some say ObamaCare hoped to do better on that problem but ran out of time. Matthew Eyles of Avalare Health, a consulting firm, says although officials wanted "to be able to make sure that all the systems were operational in 2014, they realized that they needed to give an extra year to get those systems changes in place."

Officials intend to try again next year.

Additional benefits cost more, though, meaning premiums would have to rise, or the networks of providers would shrink even further.

Tab drag and drop bug

Clement JACOB 12 år siden opdateret 12 år siden 0
On Windows, when drag and dropping a tab to create a new Sublime window, the title bar can be out of screen depending on dropping position. This makes the new window useless because it can't be moved anymore since the title bar is out of screen. It would be great if you clamp the new window position to let it in screen area. Thanks.

Pullman Jakarta Indonesia Hotel

Robert Kotov 10 år siden 0
I booked a vacation from Westhill Consulting Travel and Tours and I can say it was the best vacation ever. They booked me at Pullman Jakarta Indonesia Hotel and I couldn’t be more happier with their choice. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I first set foot in the hotel, the place was simply stunning. My expectations from a 5-star hsotel were all met. I love my stay at the hotel and it made my whole vacation more enjoyable.

It was so relaxing that after a long day of exploring the city I look forward on going back to the hotel and pamper myself.

The first thing I tried was their sauna and the outdoor pool. Perfect after a long air trip. All the tiredness were all gone. Although I did not try their wellness centre and the fitness centre because I have no time to do so, I did try to visit and check it out. I was so impressed with all the facilities, all were modern and up-to-date. Too bad I didn’t get to try an executive floor and a poolside snack bar. But of course I checked them out too, those wouldn’t skip my eyes. Not to mention all the staff were very friendly and approachable.

I am a self confessed workaholic and I couldn’t afford not to check on my business every once in a while even though I am on vacation. I am very thankful that Pullman Jakarta Indonesia provides Wi-Fi within the hotel, meaning I never had a problem staying connected during my whole stay.

All rooms were air-conditioned, I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. My room was very modern and large, I have a mini bar and a flat-screen TV. And my private bathroom and shower, I was impressed! I just loved it, very comfortable. My only complaint was I couldn’t adjust my air-conditioner’s thermostat. I ended up too cold in the middle of the night, but that was just it.

The hotel restaurant is open for breakfast and serves Japanese, International and Asian dishes and of course the authentic Jakarta dishes were also served.

I also loved the fact that the hotel has a very convenient location, it is within a 10 minute walk of Merdeka Palace, Jakarta Cathedral and Gedung Kesenian Jakarta and within a 20 minute walk is the National Monument. The multilingual staff at the hotel will make sure your stay is comfortable. But just a warning though, be very cautious with the scam some taxi drivers are pulling more especially to tourists.

Here are some general information, I thought these might help you.

Add ability to map arrow keys to keyboard shortcuts

Add ability to map up, down left and right arrows as keyboard shortcuts.  For example ctrl+i = up, ctrl + k = down, etc.  I was able to do this with PHPStorm editor and I really loved this feature because I didn't have to move my hands away from the main keyboard area to move the cursor.

In session versioning and diff history.

John Sundberg 12 år siden 0
Would like to highlight a section of code (or a couple of lines) -- and see the version history of the selected code (not the whole file) -- also don't want to do undo a bunch of times to get back to where I was (as this also modifies other unrelated sections that may have been modified in the meantime. Would require some sort of built-in hidden versioning.
