Something like Eclipse Target Management http://www.eclipse.org/tm/
I just can't work without that
I have a request into Jon to add a sidebar API to that easier browsing is possible through the SFTP package.
Sublime is amazing, except for remote development environments. Until remote sftp is baked in to the sidebar I'll have to stick with coda.
I was really looking forward to switching to Sublime.

A fully-integrated Dreamweaver-style layout for the side panel with Filezilla's sort of "backend."
I love sublime, i used it when working locally then uploading via git version control. However I have just got a new job where I am working directly on the server via ftp. I have had to resort to using Aptana because you can upload automatically on save. If you could get this feature, maybe save against the project like Patrick said it would be awsome and there would be nothing holding it back.
i really want this future to be built in
Sublime2 is a wonderful editor indeed.
I agree that a nice ftp browser would be just perfect for me too.
Please let it be!
If ST2 have ftp just like Notepad++, it will be no longer free trial..
I really like Sublime and would make the full switch from notepad++ if it had better ftp support. But I think putting it in the side bar would be just doing what everyone else has done. I like the out of the box thinking they put into this software and would like to see a more novel approach to ftp as well. It might be interesting to have a pop up ftp window called by a hot key combination.but with the option of mounting it in the ui for those who like a more traditional look. In any case I would want it to be out of view when I don't need it.
Need a real FTP browser with cache not a local browser with ftp uploader like sftp.
With that ST2 will be perfect !
By the way thank you for your great job ! You made my week !
Cant believe this hasn't been added... I love ST2 but get irritated having to right click sftp/ftp, browse server, etc. I waste a lot of time doing this for every file I need to open as I close and re open a lot of files to keep it from being cluttered. Would love a ftp browsing sidebar.
I started writing local code, and Sublime is perfect for that. But when I need to do something remotely, such as Django editing in a dev environment, the whole idea of being immersed in code in an environment free of distractions and being able to quickly do things is lost. I cant edit files remotely, thus I stick with Notepad++. I nearly bought this software before I realized it didnt have remote capabilities. I guess I assumed it was just a given. I tried the SFTP package, but its to much work to open up the files without a easy to use directory viewer. I know this all sounds dumb, but it is irritating to have to go through all the steps and the clumsy navigator to do something so simple.
Please vote up the Sidebar API issue (http://sublimetext.userecho.com/topic/19475-side-bar-api/) which is the only thing that is in the way of making this happen.
This is important as it makes FTP integration seamless. Now I am using SFTP plugin, but I need to download all the code from server and need to Sync this with remote everyday. So if there is one sidebar ,like in Aptana, FTP browsing became very easy.
