I'd like to see an option (as in TextMate and many other text editors), for auto indent on paste. If that's too hard, at least lining up the first line would be nice.

Ctrl+Shift+V / Command+Shift+V will do this
Yes! This is probably the one feature im missing the most since switching from textmate! votes++

Agreed with this one. Although there already is such an option, it doesn't seem to be as robust as I would hope.

It would make a lot more sense if just Ctrl+V / Command+V did this, can't think of any time that I'd want my code pasted incorrectly so it makes no sense that this isn't the default for paste.

I think this issue should be re-opened, there are packages that'll let you edit the shortcuts but I think this should be added in to the sublime default settings.

I don't think this is completed.

1) there should be an option to auto-indent on any paste (why would you want to hold shift all the time?)
2) It doesn't work well enough yet. There should probably be ways for users to provide indentation rules on a per language basis.

You can always switch the key bindings so that Ctrl+V = paste with indent, and Ctrl+Shift+V = without.
